What is C60?

Until the mid-1980s, the existence of the C60 molecule was unknown.

In 1979, Buckminster Fuller first speculated about its existence, predicting it would revolutionize medicine if discovered. Six years later, scientists Robert Curl, Harold Kroto, and Richard Smalley successfully identified C60, a breakthrough that earned them the Nobel Prize in Chemistry in 1996.

Fullerene, or Carbon 60 (commonly known as C60), is hundreds of times more powerful than traditional antioxidants. Unlike most antioxidants, its ability to neutralize free radicals doesn't diminish over time—it actually accumulates.

The C60 molecule consists of 60 carbon atoms arranged in a distinctive structure resembling a soccer ball. This configuration makes it highly stable and resistant to breakdown in the body. C60 is the only molecule that forms a spherical cage, giving it unique physical and chemical properties.

Research has shown that C60 offers several impressive health benefits. It acts as an antioxidant at the cellular level, protecting cells from oxidative stress and significantly boosting overall health and well-being.
